Garage punk three piece Mutant Monster are coming to the UK this May for an epic time of punk girl goodness. The tour currently has a total of five dates listed around the country and more dates are to be added to the list. So far the tour has dates for London on 23rd May at O2 Academy Islington before heading to The Parish in Huddersfield, Bannermans in Edinburgh, The Bodega in Nottingham and Jimmy’s in Manchester. Mutant Monster will then be playing a slot on Sunday 2nd June at Camden Rocks Festival in London.
The trio consists of two sisters Meana on vocals and guitar and Be on bass and vocals along with their drummer Chad. The trio originally formed whilst in high school back in 2008 in Japan and have been heavily inspired by western punk bands and culture which really shines through within their overall musical style and look. Their musical influences include punk rock classics such as The Sex Pistols and Ramones. These three badass punk rockers are sure reignite the UK’s love for punk whilst sprinkling in some sweet Japanese flavour. You can check out their two album releases as well as their EP on Spotify.
